Quick Double Smoked Butter Chicken

Butter chicken is a dish born from India’s love of spices patience and fire where gentle heat and deep aroma matter more than sharp intensity. This quick double smoked version nods to traditional tandoor cooking layering smoke into the chicken before it meets a rich cashew based tomato gravy. Cream softens the spices while garam masala and kasoori methi carry the unmistakable warmth of North Indian kitchens. It is comfort food with ceremony meant to be shared slowly preferably with warm bread and good conversation.

Some significant errors here. Cashews in the ingredients but Pecans in the method. Strange. and 1.25 lb Salt? Makes me question the whole recipe.

Thank you so much for reviewing the recipe so carefully, and I'm sorry for the confusion. It looks like there was a mix-up in the measurement conversion, along with some leftover ingredients from earlier versions during recipe development that weren't fully swapped out. We'll make sure to edit more carefully going forward! The parts you pointed out have been corrected. Thanks so much for your comment!
