Homemade Rendered Pork Lard

Slow Cooker Method — The Cleanest, Purest Lard!! Try our homemade, clean rendered lard along with the leftover cracklings! They're great as a beer snack, but personally, I loved crumbling them over my morning fried eggs with crushed red pepper flakes instead of bacon bits — so delicious!

Notes

Type of fat: Leaf lard has almost no odor and is the purest — best for baking. Back fat has a slightly stronger flavor — great for cooking.
